EN The stone axe is a stray find from the area of an agro-tourism farm in the village of Błaskowizna, Suwałki County. Its original context could not be determined. The axe can be classified as type C according to P. Włodarczak and as subtype 1D according to J. Libera and J. Sobieraj, and dates to the second half of the 3rd and early 2nd millennium BCE. Therefore, the axe can be associated with the last chronological phase of the Corded Ware Culture at the turn of the Neolithic and Bronze Age in north-eastern Poland. The object is kept in the collection of the District Museum in Suwałki.
