EN The study of spatial and functional structure of settlements is currently one of the most important directions in the archeology of the Bronze Age and the early Iron Age. The development in this field took place due to the increase in new sources acquired during rescue excavations conducted on large areas. In studies on the organization of space, not only the quantity, but also the quality of sources is important. In the study of the settlement’s organization in Stare Śleszów, GIS tools were used. The purpose of this work is to present a model of a settlement from the early Iron Age in Silesia.
