EN The article discusses the technology of manufacture of late forms of silver shield-headed bracelets. The basis for these deliberations are artefacts from the Wielbark Culture cemetery at Weklice, Elbląg County, N Poland. Based on analyses of chemical composition, physicochemical characteristics of the raw material of the bracelets were described and an attempt was made to determine its origin. Based on written and archaeological sources, goldsmithing techniques used in the manufacture of such objects were discussed, and the process of making a silver shield-headed bracelet was reconstructed, using replicas of tools known from archaeological sources. An attempt was made to characterise specialised jewellery workshops of the Wielbark Culture, concentrated around the bay of the Vistula Lagoon, whose remnant is Drużno Lake.
